Stanley & Associates is building considered, modern accounting and tax practice for owner-managed companies and the individuals who run them.
We work with a measured number of clients. For owner-managed companies, this means we hold the full A‑to‑Z — bookkeeping, tax, payroll, statutory matters, planning — under a single point of accountability and no handoffs. For individuals, it means considered tax practice without the impersonality of a large firm.
Each engagement is bespoke. We don't template clients or scale beyond what we can serve well. Modern tools handle the routine work efficiently; what we do is pay attention to what those tools cannot — the detail, the judgement, the precision that distinguishes good accounting from merely correct accounting.
What we do
01 · Accounting
Monthly bookkeeping on Xero, annual financial statements prepared to the appropriate framework, management accounts when you need them, and year-end with no surprises.
02 · Tax
Income tax for companies and individuals, VAT, provisional tax, planning conversations before transactions rather than reconciliation afterwards. SARS handled directly.
03 · Payroll
Monthly payroll administered on SimplePay, IRP5s and EMP201/501s filed accurately and on time, leave and reimbursements tracked alongside.
04 · Secretarial
Annual returns, director and shareholder changes, beneficial ownership filings, and the company records that should be kept but rarely are.
